Modern facilities in a 15th century building.
The Corte Catalana B&B lies in a 15th century building called Palazzo delle Ornie Catalane, awarded a place of historical and artistic interest by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage in 2007.
Our comfortable rooms are named after some ancient noble families of the area: Mastrilli, Di Pinto, Carafa, Orsini, Aragona. They all differ for colours and architectural features and hold some precious details, such as wooden beam ceiling or the wonderful fresco held in the Di Pinto room.
Our B&B has been recently refurbished to offer you all modern comforts, without interfering with such an important building. Corte Catalana encompasses a ground floor, first floor, an attic and two beautiful terraces.
The old, warm atmosphere is guaranteed by the tuff structure and chestnut beam ceiling, while the courtyard floor is made of Vesuvius stone.
Tuff arch structures and the terracotta tile flooring have all been accurately preserved.
